FOACON

Vision

We have our clear vision of what contributions we are out to make to the rapid development (transformation) of Africa, which will be effected in form of projects

Philosophy

It might be necessary to explain the philosophy behind the name of the organisation. And in doing so we call a spade a spade.

1. There are good, genuine friends of Africa in the developed world who genuinely want to see Africa develop. And on the other hand there will be others who do not want Africa get off the ground. We are not pointing finger but only speaking sincerely according to human nature.

2. The Africans who have made the developed world their home are not being requested to vacate their comfort zone; but contribute towards the development of Africa. The contributions they can make can be huge and multi-faceted. This group we call expatriate Africans. These two sets of people combined to be known as friends of Africa.

Because this organisation is a non-political and non-profit making volunteering entity, the module, THE DEVELOPED WORLD = JEF (Justice, Equity and Fairness) will be rigorously pursued and effected. We will stand for that which is clean and honourable. As we labour to wipe out Disease, Poverty and Corruption from Africa we will monitor and expose any injustice, inequity and unfairness meted out to nay nation in Africa.

We will work with governments on the both sides of the divide, High Commissions/Embassies, Commercial World, Institutions and other charitable/humanitarian agencies.

There is the DPC (Disease, Poverty and Corruption) in Africa and there is the absence of JEF (Justice, Equity and Fairness) in the developed world. The dichotomy is glaring. We will stand between the divide.
