Mission Statement

Our mission statement is couched in 2 mathematical modules:

(1)    AFRICA # DPC (Disease, Poverty, Corruption)

(2)    DEVELOPED WORLD=JEF (Justice, Equity and Fairness)

 And they are our goals.

It may be necessary to spell out what these equations mean.

The rest of the world outside the continent of Africa sees it as corrupt people, poor and disease-riddled.  This is not a true reflection of the continent, though truly there are poor people there and diseases that have been got rid off in other parts of the world are still plaguing certain parts of the continent.  Nonetheless, we know and believe that this in not all that Africa is made of.  There are rich and healthy people on the continent.  Besides, always seeing things wrong in Africa does not allow these detractors to see and acknowledge the immense contributions of Africans in various and numerous fields of endeavour.

So, two things we want to do by module one: we want to draw the attention of these detractors to the contributions of people of African descent.  Secondly, let’s suppose what negative news they carry about Africa is true; we are out to change and improve the life of Africans.  We will not stop until we change the negative to the positive.

Module two acknowledges that the developed world has not been just, equitable and fair in dealing with Africa; it seems it serves their purpose well, if Africa is discriminated against on the international stage.  This discrimination is carried out in various disguises.  Trade and tariffs are not just and fair and it seems those who carry out these grotesque treatments of Africa have no conscience.  Even certain non–Africans are pressing hard to see changes effected.  We want to team up with them to create a just, equitable and fair world.  Again we will not stop until we get that change of mindset effected.
